Confused yet grateful, the actress goes on a tirade about privacy invasion, and becomes the spokesmodel to the phrase “legal threats.” All the while, other attention-starved celebrities are intrigued by what the students have done and want to “participate” to revamp their nonexistent careers.
While the students are dealing with the mess they’ve created, their loyalties and friendships are called into question, along with a surge of greed. Their irony-laced, satire fame mock-up sparked a world of chaos and the original idea of “fame based satire” transforms into a wild circus. The storyline shifts into a blur of sex, celebrities, and over the top shenanigans.
Characters and Their Performances
Jack Cullison portrays one of the lead students who comes up with the idea of filming a celebrity sex tape. His character is a mix of naive enthusiasm and misguided ambition. He may not be the most skilled performer, but he does a decent job of fitting into the nerdy role archetype.
Howard Cai, Jonathan Brett, and Colbert Alembert complete the student cast and each of them is a variety of the geek archetype. They act as comic relief and sidekicks as well as the faint moral compass of the group.

As far as visual artistry goes, this film leaves much to be desired. It is flatly and lit dorm as well as studio space to capture college setting, parking lots and low-rent places. It won’t win any awards, but it can be entertaining in the small hours of the night. Celebrity Sex Tape delivers on its name—you’re guaranteed it will be gawk-worthy, and controversial.
